Instagram caption: There is a magic way of doing this, but I've never tried it - something to do with rolling up the duvet? I should probably look it up on YouTube, but apparently I prefer the battle.

Instagram caption: Well, it was worth a try - and I get points for bothering to cook at all! Sorry I don't have anything more inspiring to share with you today. The thing is, since starting antidepressants, I haven't been able to cry. Occasionally, I manage to shed a single tear, which is highly unsatisfying. I think I needed to cry this evening, but because I couldn't, carbs were my coping strategy. Lots and lots of carbs. 🍝😔

Instagram caption: If you've missed my comics this week, I hope this one helps explain a little why I went AWOL. It has felt kind of weird not drawing these every day, and even weirder going back to fill in the days without being able to say what actually happened. Life is like that though, sometimes it just interrupts you. I promise I'll fill in the story when I can. But for now I'm just posting all the comics I caught up on this weekend, enjoy 🥰💻✍

Instagram caption: For the record, I know tears don't fall upwards, and the sunglasses represent my eyes being sensitive to the light. One thing I love about drawing diary comics is creative license!

Instagram caption: Yep, we've all been a bit on edge this week, has to be said 😬

Instagram caption: For context, this is a bit of an inside-joke. One of my ex's was very precious about his coffee table and worried about getting watermarks on the beautiful wood (it was a rather lovely coffee table) ... So when we split up, to help me feel empowered, I got my own coffee table and used it as a stage for personal concerts on Friday nights to celebrate being single and independent. Childish, I know, but also quite fun (not recommended while drinking) 💃💃💃

Instagram caption: There's literally no breathing space when you have pets like mine, and misery is often interrupted in this fashion. It's actually rather nice. I think being smothered in love wouldn't be the worst way to go. 🐾🥰❤

My daily comic diaries are published every day over on my Instagram account, with a weekly round-up posted here on the blog every Weekend.
