Instagram caption: My coping strategies for stress are far from healthy, I know this. I'll diet and spend my time doing things that calm the mind after the storm though. I promise! For now, I'm already full of anxiety, so what's a little more adrenaline and sugar, eh? 🍫🍫🍫

Instagram caption: Yes, this actually happened! The buzzing was horrific! The poor bumblebee was enormous, not to mention grey and dusty from the ash - thank God it's summer and I didn't have a fire going! WHAT a DRAMA! (lots of exclamation marks in this caption!!!) 🐝 🐝 🐝

Instagram caption: Not a good day in terms of caffeine and sugar intake- although some would say it was ☕☕☕🍫🍫🍫😭😭😭

Instagram caption: The man wasn't really being rude, he was just a bit confused and trying to work out her age - but nobody wants their dog to get old! Sadly mine is getting on a bit. Her eyes have gone cloudy, and she's always had that scruffy "old man" look about her, but she behaves like a puppy, so I get it. What Juniper did NOT get, however, was why the man didn't give her any treats when she could smell them a mile off in his pocket! 🐾🐾🐾

Instagram caption: It was definitely a - please floor, swallow me up right now - moment! 🥴📮

Instagram caption: You might think my final revelation is far-fetched, but I'll have you know, that Venlafaxine, which is the SNRI antidepressant I am on, has a very short half-life. Now, I don't know what that means, but all the people on all the forums say "Don't forget to take your meds on time!!!" Because apparently withdrawal or 'discontinuation' symptoms come on fast and hard. If you follow my diary comics you might remember, however, that I totally forgot to take a pill not too long ago, and I thought nothing terrible was going to happen... and then I ended up in bed all afternoon. Well, I'm on a higher dose now, so it's entirely possible that I've had a bad headache all day long because I took my pill an hour later last night - and if that's the case - then I may actually have something to worry about when the time comes to taper off them!

Instagram caption: In case you were wondering, yes, apparently shins CAN sweat! So, it is possible that my shins were sweating, and that this somehow made the cream exit my pores, resulting in wet, slippy legs. It was horrible, and there was nothing I could do about it because I was in the middle of Morrisons. What would people think if I got my trusty kitchen towels out and started dabbing my knees and thighs? I might get escorted out. I’m certain the security guard is waiting for the perfect opportunity, and this would be it. (I’m that shopper who sets the alarms off at the doors for no reason!)

My daily comic diaries are published every day over on my Instagram account, with a weekly round-up posted here on the blog every Weekend.
