Diary Comics: Week 8

Instagram caption: Can't tell you how long I have spent attempting to draw diary comics this weekend - I have just HATED all of my ideas and the drawings, and I've beaten myself up rotten about how stupid the project is, and how nobody is interested in my totally irrelevant stories that are all about me! Then today it dawned on me... it's because my mood has dipped and depression has thwarted my perception of all the things. (This would be a really good time to reassure me of my poignant brilliance, by the way, so hit the like, leave a comment...) Also - not entirely sure how "Depression" has ended up looking like a canine Casper. It started out as a thought bubble, then turned into a ghost. I added ears because Depression is meant to be a black dog, but then realised mine is a white dog, because it's a ghost that is haunting me. We're just going to have to go with it 👻👻👻

Instagram caption: Fig frequently distracted me during video call meetings while I was working from home, not to mention just blocking my view in general while I was trying to write. Plus, on more than one occasion I came back from making a cup of tea to find that Fig had composed nonsense messages on Teams... it's a wonder they never got sent! Little devil ❤ 🐾
